Visa Process
Visa applications once filed with Australian Immigration can take from 6-8 weeks.
Under Australia’s universal visa system, all visitors must hold a valid visa to travel to and enter the country. Exceptions include New Zealand passport holders, who are typically granted a Special Category visa upon arrival, provided they meet health and character requirements, and permanent residents of Norfolk Island, who may be issued a Permanent Resident of Norfolk Island visa upon arrival.

Visa Application Letter
All visa letter requests must be made by 01st July 2025 and emailed to info@wollongongtriathlon.com. We will aim to provide your letter within 48 hours of receiving your email. Please note that all application requests will be verified with the respective National Federations before the VISA letter is issued.
Please provide the following information to

- Full Name
- Date of Birth (Day, Month, Year)
- Role (ie: Athlete; Coach; Medical; Media etc)
- International Federation
- Country of residence
- Passport number, issue date and expiry date
- Arrival and Departure details (date and times and where possible Flight numbers
